Glenn Rosewall - Executive Chairman
Glenn Rosewall was named the Executive Chairman of BBY in February 2012, having joined BBY in 2004 as the Managing Director and CEO. Glenn has over 25 years experience in institutional broking and investment banking, primarily in senior management positions in investment banks in Australia and the United States.
Prior to joining BBY, Glenn was based in New York as the US Head of Sales for Asian Equities at JPMorgan Chase, one of the largest investment banks in the world. He was also a member of the Bank's International Equities Executive Committee. Earlier in his career, Glenn was Executive Director and Head of Equities at Australian-owned Ord Minnett Securities Limited. He was responsible for the firms distribution of some of Australia's largest Initial Public Offerings and worldwide placements. These included the floats of Billabong, MYOB, Cabcharge, BHP and Billiton M&A and the government's sell down of Telstra T1 (1997) and T2 (1999).
Glenn has a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University (BeE) and is a 25 year member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Glenn is also a Master Stockbroker with the Stockbrokers Association of Australia.
Arun Maharaj - CEO
Arun was appointed to the position of CEO in February 2012 after having been BBY's CFO for around 8 years. Arun is responsible for the day to day management of all businesses and the general management of BBY teams.
Arun Maharaj has considerable experience in finance and management positions within the Funds Management and Stockbroking industry. He began his career over 16 years ago with PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Audit Manager in Financial Services, based in Sydney. He has also worked with BT Financial Group as their Group Reporting Manager.
Arun Maharaj holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in New Zealand; Master Stockbroker, Securities and Derivatives Industry Association in Australia.
Andrew Treloggan - Legal Counsel
Andrew joined BBY in April 2011 as our Legal Counsel and headed up BBY's Transition groups working on the acquisition of StoneBridge. Prior to joining BBY, Andrew was a lawyer at Blake Dawson, specialising in the areas of corporate law and financial markets law. Andrew has also held operational positions at BlueScope Steel.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from Monash University and and a Bachelor of Engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
Guy Ogier - Head of Marketing & Research Publishing
Guy joined BBY in May 2011 and is responsible for BBY's marketing and research publishing initiatives. Guy has worked in financial services marketing for over 20 years. Prior to joining BBY, Guy was the Head of Marketing at Ord Minnett , Global Head of Brand and Marketing for Macquarie Bank and Co-Head of Global Marketing for BNP Paribas Securities Services, based in the UK and Paris, and covering 17 markets of operation.
Guy has also worked in marketing and communications roles at Citigroup in the UK, and Project Finance roles at Cunnington & Co. and Corporate Advisory Limited, a division of Normandy Mining. Guy began his career at ANZ Bank's finance company, Esanda Finance, in 1988.
Guy holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Adelaide.
Stewart Palmer - Head of Institutional Sales
Stewart Palmer joined the BBY Group in May 2010 as the Head of Institutional Sales, based in Sydney. Stewart has over 30 years experience in management positions within the stockbroking industry in Australia, the UK, Western Europe and in the USA.
Since 2006 Stewart Palmer was the CEO of BBY's Joint Venture partner, CIMB Securities (USA) Inc., which he established for the Asian-based parent company. Stewart maintains a global sales focus.
